Just look at what I cut in my garden today - the distinctive and decorative seed heads of the annual Nigella (Love-in-a-mist). And, just think, there are numerous little black (hence, the nigella moniker) seeds in each pod.
And in case you are wondering, there is no water in the pitcher. I want these seed pods to dry out so I can harvest the seeds. Rosie, wanna guess where some of these seeds might end up?
