Visiting Midnight

After yet another cat-less night at home, I decided to visit my dear cat at the vet.

Midnight is being cared for at Combs Veterinary Clinic.

Midnight is glad to see his mommy, if not her camera.

Poor Middy is hooked up to an IV. He doesn't know what he has done to deserve such ignominy.

I miss my kitty. But I want him to get better before he comes back home. Bye, Middy.

Well, there are animals around the house. I don't think those are cats, though.

The birds are back in the neighborhood.

You'll have to click on the picture to see what I had to drive through in order to get back home after visiting with my dear cat.

Dixie and Beau send {{healing head rubs, licks, and Purrs}} to Middie.

And what kind of birds are those?

Oh, my straight out of Alfred Hitchcock! I'll echo Rosie's "What kind of birds?" And - I'll bet they're loud! I have some that overwinter in my neighbor's tree and my hedges. The hedge birds are a great cat distraction, though.

Poor Middy, with his IV. It's hard to explain this is for his own good.

I'm sure that Middy appreciates the well wishes. Now, if I could just have him back home.

The birds are blackbirds: starlings, grackles, cowbirds etc. Several different kinds of birds tend to flock together, especially in the winter. These birds were really not very afraid of the car as I was driving through the neighborhood.
