Cascades

Today, after a relaxing afternoon at the Relache Spa, some shopping and much walking, I finally made it back to the room and connected to the Internet. Gee, now I really feel tired.

Since this hotel is so large, I am focusing on certain areas in each post. In this post, I will show you around Cascades.

Just down the hallway from our hotel room is a doorway to the Cascades atrium. This atrium covers two acres.

The programmed fountains have been replaced with a more naturalistic water feature.

The tunnel under the waterfalls is still there.

The gardens are spectacular at night.

Like looking out through the waterfall?

How about this one?

Some things have changed a bit.

While others remain much the same.

Can I tell you how relaxing it was to sit here and enjoy a morning coffee?

I'm just dropping back in to take in the beauty of it all.

Both waterfall pictures were wonderful, but the first one
is exceptional. First Prize As In Best In Show. Love the green at the bottom.

Crop the picture so it's a vertical -
on either side of the water - so the green is in the bottom left.
