Deck the Halls
I finally have the time and feel good enough to get the Christmas decorations up for the year. Well, I'm only a week late this time. As an added bonus, my husband is around to help carry things up from the basement.
Oh, I forgot that there is artificial ivy in this garland too. In case you are wondering, these decorations are wired onto the garland so there is no need to redo it each year.

The front porch is decked out.
I really did deck the hall. This garland is 24 feet long and heavily laden with artificial fruit, ribbons and lights.

My daughter takes a break from working on school papers and studying to help decorate the tree.
We just need to wrap the presents so the tree will have some company.

And now I present you with a couple of Rosie Hawthorne-patented action shots. This is harder than it looks.

Purty!
Mr. H. and I may go out tomorrow to get ... THE TREE. I need to start putting up my lights inside the glass block in the foyer and outside on the front deck and down the steps.
On the to-do list for tomorrow.
Le sigh.
