Snow and Snow Cream

The big snowstorm hit Southern Indiana today

and brought plenty of snow.

After having received over 16 inches

of the white fluffy goodness in December,

we're feeling a little bit snowed out here already.

Too bad for us winter's just getting started.

I do have to admit that the view off my back deck

is nearly postcard perfect.

Snow.

And more snow.

By mid-afternoon we had gotten 3-1/4 inches of snow,

but more was still falling.

Looks like it's time to make snow cream.

Just remember to use freshly fallen snow

and to avoid the yellow snow!

Add cream or Half and Half and powdered sugar

and stir.

Vanilla extract can also be added, if desired.

Taste and adjust until it tastes like ice cream.

Enjoy!

Snow - if you can't stop it from falling, eat it!
And later....
See, I told you more snow was falling.
The Foodie Daughter wants to return this to sender.
