Flash Flood, Thunderstorm

and Tornado Warnings!

Oh my!

What an evening!

Strong storms developed overhead

while a nasty line of thunderstorms headed our way.

Hail began to fall.

By the time the hail stopped,

we were getting quarter-sized hail.

Another evening,
another storm.
This was our fifth in six days.

Quarter-sized hail.

Minx does not like the harness.
The Foodie Daughter wanted to keep
him safe in case a tornado hit.
Fortunately,
we came through the storms intact.

After the storms passed,

the sun graced us with its presence briefly

before setting.

Hope your plants made it through intact. I remember last year, I had just planted hundreds of little peat pots with seeds which were just germinating. I noticed a storm brewing so went outside to bring them in. A big gust hit and my pots went everywhere. Then quarter-inch hail destroyed what the wind didn't.
Good times.
