Take Me Down to the Lake

After a nice lunch in town with my daughter and then grocery shopping, I decided that a leisurely drive down by the lake was in order.

If you recall, the last time I ventured down to the lake, we had a foot of snow on the ground and this part of the lake was completely iced over.

The Moore's Creek area is now mostly ice-free.

Well, that was nice and cold. Time to head back up the hill.

If you listen carefully on the video, you will hear some popping noises. That is the sound of the ice along the shore cracking.
