Aargh! Avast Ye Mateys!

Today be International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Now, start talking like a pirate or ye'll be walkin'

the plank.

And these be shark infested waters.

Aargh.

So, listen up, ye scallywags.

In honor of this momentous occasion,

we are serving seafood.

First up,

the Cap'n (that be me)

ordered Mahi Mahi.

Now we had to travel far and wide to find this

marvelous fish,

but the Cap'n asks and we delivers.

Else we all be walkin' the plank.

We also got us a stash of rum

so the cook be putting together a

most excellent glaze for our fishies.

If ye promise to not tell the Cap'n that

I told ye,

here be the recipe the cook used:

1 clove garlic, grated

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1/3 cup rum

1/2 cup orange marmalade

Cookie also salted and peppered the Mahi Mahi filets

and sprinkled olive oil over them.

Didn't know our cook knew them fancy things.

Look, the table be set for our celebration

of all things Pirate.

Aargh!

Seems Cookie had trouble cooking the fish

in the pan on the grill.

So Cookie braved the grill and cooked

the delicate Mahi Mahi directly on the grill.

Meanwhile, the glaze be busy

cooking on the grill.

Luckily for us,

the Cap'n ordered a raid on a rice plantation

earlier,

so we had a fancy rice pilaf,

I thinks Cookie called it

as well as some corn.

Now, get busy with the pirate talkin' mateys.
