After yet another cat-less night at home, I decided to visit my dear cat at the vet.
Midnight is being cared for at Combs Veterinary Clinic.
Foodies Untie is an often lighthearted, sometimes silly look at culinary pursuits and the domestic arts. I have the feeling that many photographs will also be headed your way. Come visit with me, relax and forget your worries for a while.

Dixie and Beau send {{healing head rubs, licks, and Purrs}} to Middie.
And what kind of birds are those?
Oh, my straight out of Alfred Hitchcock! I'll echo Rosie's "What kind of birds?" And - I'll bet they're loud! I have some that overwinter in my neighbor's tree and my hedges. The hedge birds are a great cat distraction, though.
Poor Middy, with his IV. It's hard to explain this is for his own good.
I'm sure that Middy appreciates the well wishes. Now, if I could just have him back home.
The birds are blackbirds: starlings, grackles, cowbirds etc. Several different kinds of birds tend to flock together, especially in the winter. These birds were really not very afraid of the car as I was driving through the neighborhood.
